A French Napolean III Neoclassical Oak Bookcase. This bookcase has an O-gee foliate carved cornice above an inset paneled frieze with relief carved oval boss, cartouche paneled foliate decoration, the molded doors having glazing with the lower quarter featuring relief carved panels, one door depicting architecture, and the other depicting music, above a single long drawer and all flanked by rope twist carved columnar pilasters, resting on squat bun feet. The finish and hardware are original.
