A French
Henri II Oak Rope Twist Bookcase. The crest of this bookcase has a
split pediment with a carved egg in the center. The top portion of
the bookcase has a carved lion's head followed by two carved doors,
one with a cornucopia with fruits and nuts, the other with bailed
wheat, sickle, and rack. The bottom doors are flanked by two rope
carved columns and razed on a bun foot. The finish and hardware are
original.
